The Vimar Eikon Casambi wireless switch brings physical lighting control into carefully designed interiors. Switch lights on and off, adjust brightness or recall a lighting scene using configurable buttons, with no batteries to replace or electrical wiring required at the switch.
Combining EnOcean energy-harvesting technology with the Eikon design collection, it offers a practical way to coordinate smart lighting controls with the materials, colours and architectural details of your space.
Battery-free control, powered by each press
A built-in electrodynamic generator converts the movement of each button press into the energy needed to transmit a wireless command. There is no battery to charge or replace and no mains supply needed at the switch.
Add a control beside a bed, at a room entrance or alongside a desk without chasing finished walls for new switch cables. With the appropriate mounting support, Eikon wireless controls can be surface-mounted, including on wood or glass, or installed over a compatible back box. Confirm the frame and mounting arrangement for your installation when specifying.
Lighting scenes at your fingertips
Choose a single- or double-rocker arrangement to suit the room. The double-rocker configuration provides four button positions, which can be configured individually or in pairs through the Casambi app.
Depending on the connected lighting and configuration, you can:
Switch lights on and off and adjust brightness.
Recall lighting scenes for dining, relaxing, working or welcoming guests.
Bring several lights together in a coordinated scene.
Reassign button functions as the room or its use changes.
Once commissioned, everyday control is through the switch, without needing to open an app. This makes Eikon a useful choice for bedrooms, living spaces, hotel rooms and other interiors where familiar physical controls matter.
Integration with your Casambi network
The Casambi-compatible version uses an EnOcean Bluetooth Low Energy transmitter to send commands to compatible devices in your lighting network. Pair the switch using NFC and the Casambi app, then assign its button functions.
The switch is a wireless controller: your lighting requires compatible Casambi-enabled luminaires, drivers or control modules. Available dimming and scene functions depend on the connected equipment and network configuration. Specify the Bluetooth Casambi version when ordering; other radio variants are not interchangeable.
Eikon Evo and Exé: two distinct design choices
Eikon Evo: a refined, decorative presence with a slim silhouette, a distinctive framed appearance and a choice of premium materials.
Eikon Exé: a restrained architectural style with slim profiles, squared corners and an emphasis on the texture and finish of the cover plate.
Both collections offer a way to coordinate wireless lighting controls with other Eikon wiring accessories, helping sockets and switches form a considered part of the interior.
Materials and finishes to complement your scheme
The wider Eikon collections include glass, metal, wood, leather and stone or stoneware finishes, depending on the selected series and plate format. These are specification choices rather than a single finish range shared by every model.
Within the Exé collection, examples include:
Metal: brushed nickel, brushed dark bronze, brushed copper and polished finishes.
Glass and mirror: milky white or satin black glass, alongside reflective finishes such as ice silver.
Wood: oak, American walnut and eucalyptus.
Leather: tactile finishes including Savannah, Steppe and Black Forest.
Marbled stoneware: Calacatta White, Coffee Brown and Marquiña Black effects.
