The project began with a simple search for inspiration in the ORAC catalogue. From 3D wall panels to ceiling cornices and wall mouldings, the possibilities for decorative features are endless
Step-By-Step: From Vision to Reality
1. Preparation is Key: Before the installation, we marked out the layout directly on the wall. A clean, dry surface is essential for a secure bond.
2. Easy Installation: ORAC profiles come in 2-metre lengths and are easy to cut and position. We used the dedicated ORAC adhesive and filler system to ensure a seamless, professional finish.
3. The Power of Colour: Originally, we planned for a single-color look. However, we decided to introduce a white finish alongside a bold teal. This added contrast and definition that truly made the moulding pop.
Adding the "Magic" with LED Lighting
The true transformation happened when we integrated Kazzar Lighting LED Strips.
By combining the decorative profiles with our tunable white LED strip (controlled via Casambi), we created an indirect lighting effect that makes the wall look integrated into the very fabric of the architecture. This combination doesn't just decorate a room; it creates atmosphere and ambience.
